At Skydive Spaceland, our instructors have combined decades of experience and thousands of skydives to create The Skydiver Training Program (STP). We help you excel in this challenging sport by combining fun, safety and education in a non-competitive, relaxed environment with state-of-the-art parachute equipment. If you have ever wanted to learn how to skydive, or if you just want to do it once to check it off your bucket list, Spaceland Dallas is the best place to make it happen! I earned my solo skydiving license through their training program this past summer, and have been actively skydiving for the better part of 9 months at the time of this review. The customer service, safety culture, quality of equipment and education here is second to none. The people working here are true professionals. They are passionate about what they do, and are wonderful ambassadors to the sport. These are a few of the many reasons why Spaceland is the busiest (and in my opinion, the BEST) civilian skydiving school in the United States, and why there are multiple people I have met who travel from other parts of the country to learn how to skydive here. Skydive spaceland is an exemplary drop zone. I have jumped at several drop zones here in the USA and around the world, and the level of professionalism and skill that is shown here is unmatched. I was looking to do my AFF course at another drop zone and it did not seem like it was a priority to them, but I was able to walk on do a tandem and get right on the process of going through school to get my Skydive license with spaceland. I’ve now had my license for five years and enjoy jumping regularly, but none of that would have happened. Just started my journey toward earning my A License here and I couldn’t have picked a better place. I did two tandems with Josh R., whose calm demeanor and incredible experience instantly put me at ease and gave me the confidence I needed to move forward into solo jumps. From there, Erick guided me through my first three dives with patience, clarity, and encouragement. This is exactly the kind of instruction you want when you’re learning something this exciting. The facility itself is top notch, but what really stands out is the community. Every single person I’ve met here, staff and fellow jumpers alike, has been friendly, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about the sport. I Started out with 2 Tandems with Solo had a blast an was Terrified lol Solo is now an AFF instructor!! (boi congrats big fella) from there off to ground skool which is currently only offered on Sundays my instructor was Katie 🎀!! She's was so excited to be teaching us about skydiving an has the happiest personality in the wrld, Katie was very informative about the sport which is why she teaches the course!! She made our ground skool class and fun and exciting "Dont forget to PLF" lol Once ground skool was complete it was time to meet the terrifying door monster at 14,000 feet which you'll learn all about later, hes not terrifying anymore tho! My instructors were all TOP 🏆🏆 Brandon 🍫⚡️"Chest to the wind" Solo 🥶 "wanna have some fun?" Katie 🎀 "Are you ready to skydive!" Each with a different personality for the sport so u learn something different with each instructor!! 🅰️ Last thing i had to do before getting stamped was the packing class! My instructor was Camilo! He was awesome! Very professional, which is why hes packin everyone's rig!!! Camilo was very very detailed when teaching the packing course! Going over each step by step slowly while delivering a high amount of instruction in a fun way we all could understand and once we ALL understood ONLY then would he proceed with the class. I really enjoyed that teaching style because he truly wanted to make sure we fully understood and learned the material. He was very patient when it came to questioning an had an answer for literally everything you could think of!! On Sunday, 4/21 I began the STP program with Skydive Spaceland Dallas. I was able to complete 2 tandems and my Tandem Instructors were Daniel and David. They were both very professional, knowledgeable and just an absolute blast to begin this journey with. Check in with the ladies upfront was a breeze and they were so helpful and friendly as well. Carl came and got me to watch the tandem video and we then went right to getting geared up. The planes, instructors, packers, ALL staff and  gear are all top quality and all jumpers here are very spoiled. I drive 2.5hrs one way to jump here and am absolutely thrilled to continue working on my licenses here. Where do i even start! I mean WOW! This place was absolutely awesome and the experience I’ll never forget was even better. The instructors and other employees are super cool and nice. I thought i was going to be nervous but for some reason i wasn’t & realized there was nothing to even be scared of once we jumped out of the plane! I can’t wait to do it again and again! it’s literally been the only thing i can think about since i jumped. Absolutely incredible i wish there was words to describe the feeling. Everyone needs to feel it at least once in their lifetime. It makes you want to keep going back for more! I would give this place more stars if i could! You don’t know how much you need this until you do it! Don’t let your fear take over! It’s so blissful! & they have the best prices around!! You even get a $99 jump after your first! Believe me you’ll want it, lol. You may even wanna get your license to do it everyday! My instructor Juancho was super calm and nice! My boyfriend’s was Brandon he was super awesome too! They made us feel super safe and somehow they make you feel like skydiving is just a normal thing people do everyday. I don’t know why i never did this sooner but this will definitely be a thing i do more often, it changed my life! Ask for David! Definitely focused on making your jump safe and exciting all at the same time. Skydive Spaceland Dallas was a very professional establishment and the staff very friendly. EVERYONE wants you to have a good time! I came with my son who's a licensed jumper, and it was an experience of a life time. I really didn't know what to expect, but the thrill  of the entire experience from the initial jump out of the plane, free fall, instruction in the air, flying the canopy all the way to landing was worth doing! If I was going to send my mom out of a plane strapped to someone, David would hands down be my pick!!!! Best part was that even though you would believe skydiving is unsafe, David knew what he was doing and made the entire experience feel safe! Loved that!!! Intent on obtaining my A-license in a short period of time, Spaceland Dallas was the obvious choice in north TX after online research and inquiry at the Frisco iFLY. In late July, I completed my two tandem jumps with Katie and Josh and attended the classroom training with Brandon. Between Aug 15th and Aug 24th, I made 23 jumps and received my A-license.  13 jumps were made with Lead Instructor Brian Lane and three with Instructor Ben Woolslayer.  In particular, I owe Brian my gratitude, as he spent a significant amount of time, calming my nerves, tolerating my incessant questions, and imparting his vast knowledge and wisdom. Due to the efforts of the instructors and staff, the A-license experience was more thorough and exciting than I imagined.  This drop zone is as good as they come.  I have been more than impressed with the instructors, pilots, packers, manifest/check-in staff, grounds-crew, and quality of the aircraft, hangers, and rental equipment. Finally got my A License and it was the best experience ever:) I had the best instructors at Spaceland Dallas, Fernanda and Brian leading the way, beginning to end, and helping me be successful in the program. I also got to work with Jade and Brandon on several jumps, and Solomon and Katie gave great advice on the ground between jumps.
